in new production is key to 'closing the loop'.
The UK Government recognises it will not reach
its recycling goals unless it develops an aggressive
agenda to develop new commercial applications
for materials recovered from the waste stream.
To increase the use of recycled materials, a
shift is needed in the attitudes of designers,
product manufacturers and other stakeholders.
